The re-elected mayor trotted out a whack of would-be projects yesterday in a speech to the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce - under the umbrella of something he called a 90-day plan. The mayor’s keen on an arena report plan coming forward by January, too - one that will tell council the costs of either renovating Rexall Place or building a new rink downtown. One last big hunk of would-be spending is a report Mandel expects from administration on a proposed new downtown bridge - “a new piece of infrastructure that is gaining urgency,” said Mandel. Mandel himself admitted yesterday he understands citizens are fed up with bad roads and inferior infrastructure - something the city’s hard-pressed to fix with its current amount of cash.
