Did you ask them about a payment plan? Most cash advance place will allow you an extension and pay fees only until you can pay the loan off in full

Try and pay something back however small it may be just to keep them off your back.
You usually get a notice to say it has been passed on the collectors and you have 7 days to pay.
They start adding call out charges if they send people to your address.
Go to C.A.B as they can talk to them for you and arrange a payment plan.
