If I pay cash for my drugs at a pharmacy, can I keep them private from my insurance company?
I don’t want my insurance company, or anyone, to know about some drugs I am taking. If I take my prescription to a major chain like CVS, and pay in cash without giving them my insurance info, can my insurance company find out about it?

Your insurance company won’t know but the government will

If you aren’t using your insurance then I dont’ see why they would have to find out..
Tell the pharmacist that you want to keep it private….

Not generally. But personally, I would use a mom and pop drugstore in a neighboring town… Then my answer would be a definite no.

your insurance company can query your doctor as well as a major drug store.
what are you trying to hide?
you may need to buy over the web from a site like the one below
