Suspects arrested following Eastern Cape heist - SABC News- Cash Pay
Twelve suspects have been arrested at Tsomo in the Eastern Cape in connection with this morning’s cash-in-transit heist that left a 64-year-old man dead. Police say the alleged robbers were found in a house at Mjulwa village. Earlier today a Cash Pay Master Service’s vehicle was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money - while carrying cash to a pay point near Cofimvaba. The robbers, in four cars, rammed the cash-in-transit vehicle and it veered out of control. The old man, who was following the cash-carrying vehicle in his bakkie, was hit by a bullet and died on the scene. The suspects will appear in court tomorrow on charges of murder, robbery and possession of unlicensed firearms. Find Out More
