Brother \”borrowed\” $170K from mom and never paid it back. I have proof. He bought a $1.3 Mil house. Ideas?
He had her increase a credit card limit to $70K, then had her write a check and get a cash advance against it. He also had her wire $70K to him from her bank account, which had just been put there from my father’s life insurance company. He died late last year. The remaining money was from bank loan my parents gave him over 10 years ago. $22K plus interest. His company, Precerche, got a Department of Defense contract late last year, for $1.3 Mil and he also purhcased a new house valued at $1.3-1.7 Mil. The payments on this house are in excess of $8K per month. He is a swindler and a cheat. He hasn’t paid taxes on the “loan” money. His kids go to Regents School of Austin, a private school which costs about $25K for them. His wife acts like she doesn’t know anything about it. He has consistently lied about his ability to repay the “loans” in order to get access to more money. He also owes me $16K. Got any ideas? No tire slashing or magazine subscription blitzes please.

has your mother asked for the money back? if she has and he did not pay her back i suggest you get her a good lawyer for her and take him to court there is proof of a loan by her account transfers to him so i think you have a good case! i work for a lawyer and see cases like this all the time with normally a good outcome.
