My advice would be to find a cost effective alternative. Borrow a friend's Ipod. They may ask for one of your posessions as collateral. Or you could try reading. You could probably get a great deal on a used MP3 player if you decide you don't need the Ipod. Or what about a used Gameboy? Those are always fun if you like video games.
